Calamity here. Just flew in to Honolulu yesterday afternoon to 80 degree temps. So sweet and a far cry from the cold and snow of Salt Lake City Utah. I am staying at the Halekulani, on the beach at Wakiki. It's georgous. I am painstakingly going through my bags again, pulling out stuff I really don't need to mail home. As I get the knack of this blog, I promise it will be more entertaining, with lots of pictures.

Calamity and her best friend Young Sue will be going on a Great Adventure that will take them to the far reaches of the world. This adventure begins on January 8, 2009 and ends March 26, 2009. Our journey will take us to Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Singapore, The Maldives, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, France and England.

We got your postcard last night. This blog is going to be fun so we can watch the two of your adventures. Hawaii is beautiful, wish we were there.
By now you are probably Thailand and doing the bike adventure.
We will see Sue/Glen tonight to celebrate Doug's birthday.
